He was all through the town
But the clubs were all silent
The scene was shut down.

The eggnog on tap

Now is the right time
To share the good cheer
And give thanks to the people
Who survived this year.

First on my list

May they all find
New contracts under the tree

Designer suits hung
By the fireplace with care
In hopes Whitney or Ne-Yo
Might show up there.

When out on the roof
There arose such a clatter
I sprang from my waterbed
To see what was the matter

I spied a little old driver
In a slick purple sleigh
Too big to be Prince
But he was jammin’ away

Programmers were nestled
All snug in their beds
While visions of PPMs
Danced in their hears

The jolly old dude
With the smile on his face
Found notes from adults
All over the place

The sprinkler went off
The clock started to strike
Like Jay-Z or Snoop
Rockin’ the mike
