What If You Knew?

How would you change?

What if you knew you had only one listener?

Would you work as hard? Would you prep as long? Would it change how you feel about what you do, or how well you think you do it?

What if you knew she was at the very end of her rope, hanging, literally, by a thread?

Would you worry about formatics? Would you talk about yourself, complain, tell inside jokes and yuck it up?

What if you knew that the love spilled from your broken heart could be sufficient to heal hers? Would you share? Or would that level of intimacy be off limits?

Would you worry about mentioning the time and temperature, or plugging that client event?

What if you knew your voice meant the difference between hope and despair, between life and death?
