You have one, don't you?
Years ago, I had the great good fortune to attend a seminar featuring director, Stanley Kubrick.
I was a student at Vanderbilt University at the time, and "2001: A Space Odyssey" had just been released.
I remember just about everything he said that day.
One of the things he talked about was having artistic control. He said that if he put his name on a film, he wanted it to be his vision, not some studio exec's or finance guy.
Whatever you thought of his films -- Spartacus, Lolita, Dr. Strangelove, A Clockwork Orange, The Shining, Full Metal Jacket and more -- you had to admire his confidence.
Don't put your name on a product that shames your talent.
What makes your work unique? What makes you special?
