A Different Kind of Leader

In our industry, and -- to be honest -- most others in our country, the way to bigger bonuses and more perks is by firing employees, reducing expense.

The idea of Lew Dickey or Bob Pittman or Leslie Moonves taking a bus to an office without doors, even of flying commercial, in economy class, rather than on their private jet, is just ludicrous.

Am I wrong?

Do you have an example of any Radio CEO who takes a pay cut so there's more money to hire and promote local talent?
