Politically Incorrect

Here I am, fresh off the plane from Los Angeles a day after the President's Oval Office Immigration speech. Charlie Daniels has is opinion on all of this on his website essay, www.charliedaniels.com . It's so politically incorrect and fantastic.
Equally stirring for all the wrong reasons, The Dixie Chicks were just on 60 Minutes this past Sunday. If you missed it, find the transcript or go to the CBS news website, but find the interview and segment done by Steve Kroft. Kroft did a real good job and he even seemed amazed that Natalie doesn't get it. The girls took more than a few shots at Country radio and Country music fans, except their "more intelligent" ones.
Like Kroft said, not since Jane Fonda has someone in show business stirred so many people up. Like Charlie Daniels, you have to admire them for sticking to their guns. Only problem is, their guns are best used for shooting themselves in the feet!
It's the most amazing act of self destruction I have ever seen in the media. They will sell some CD's and they will sell some concert seats, but look what they have now and compare.. It is very sad, and the saddest part is all they had to do is apologize for offending some people. Instead they chose to be what they are.
Critical comments made in a foreign country on the EVE of battle by Americans pandering for support from some anti-war Brit kids is not acceptable among some people. Natalie still thinks it's just about what she said. No, it isn't. To be so talented at singing and performing as they are and be so stupid and insensitive on the other side is weird. Jane Fonda never said the movie fans who didn't like what she did were idiots. Ah, but she's not a Dixie Chick. They make it REAL hard for a lot of well meaning people to help them.
