Have you sensed the tension with people this week? If you think people have NO opinion or just one opinion on politics/Congress/Nancy Pelosi/Health Care, you are nuts! Even if you are a left-leaning person you must know the environment right now is poisonous.

HELP is need from broadcasters! Radio needs to be an escape ... play some funnnnnnnnn music. We need to be carefully carried back to a safer, more fun past.

Remember the old Million-Dollar Weekends? Something with fun music to get us into Spring and maybe be uplifting. All this research that says people just react to ballads and sweet love story music is simply wrong.

Somebody needs to be playing "All My Rowdy Friends," some up Garth and George music ... Things that make us HAPPY....

Just reviewed the songs of the late Johnny Maestro, who died this week from cancer at age 70. He had such talent. Sang with such passion, as did Alex Chilton of the Box Tops/Big Star.

Passion ... fun ... maybe silly ... we need a lift these days with the economy and politics kicking us in the head!

Calgon, take me away ... .remember that commercial? Same now for radio .... take me awayyyyyyyyyyyy!

Country music pretty quiet on the scandal sheet ... We did see where LeAnn Rimes once dated Tiger Woods. That was a toss in the outfield for publicity!

Mindy has new music ... post-scandal now for her, maybe ... All seems quiet ... maybe too quiet and dull...

We need to shake it up ... we so badly need a Hank Jr. figure to kick the party into gear! Too much DULL and sweet and polished.

Whew...We need some grit ... guitar ... loud Hammond organ ... a drum solo with a double-bass drum ... come on, you get the picture. Four -- not sex-- string bass ... play the low notes ... we need some GUYS and beer and dirt on the floor ...
