Hey, We're Coming To Nashville This Summer
July 26, 2019
Have an opinion? Add your comment below. While I'm thinking about it, How does Confederate Railroad get out of their jam? They get booted off another Fair his week. The flags in logo is cited most often. They are bad symbols to many. The name doesn't seem to be the problem. Maybe. Many say the group's music is being played again because of the problem. Good for them. the old bad publicity is better than being ignored. Tough subject and no shortage of viewpoints. I just hope the band can figure out something so they can keep playing and getting paid!

If you live in Music City, you live in "It" town. At all costs I try to avoid Lower Broadway. Too expensive, too crowded, but you don't have much choice .
It's great to have all the music types and bars, but let's try something else. The Cash Museum is really well done!
Bars versus museum? Kind of a hard sell but the museums of Nashville are quite unique.
The Country Music Hall of Fame is fantastic. And the nearby Cash Museum is a supplement.
The George Jones Museum takes you even deeper into the Country world.
Let's say your visitor isn't all that Country crazy. Then I have a museum for you: The Musicians Hall of Fame. This salutes all kinds of music from Motown to Muscle Shoals and from Music Row to Sunset Blvd. The Musicians Hall of Fame gets lost a lot in the mix. With a Hendrix section and so much more, it is an eye opener for the non-pro and even for the entertainment business person. Go see it and you will be amazed!
The Opry lost its boss this week in something of a surprise. That is a rare job opening.
I will always take out-of-towners there, especially first-time visitors. It's the place and the feeling. If a big star plays, that's a bonus.
The Opry has a $12 million in additions and improvements underway. A backstage tour has been beefed up and a film for the backstage fans to watch. Remains THE thing people know the most.
When it's at the Ryman, then it's even more traditional .

Social media activity is done better by some acts than others. The smokin' dot.com is none other than JohnnyCash.com. Go look! You can get tons of info, pictures ... you name it! Great job!
Dierks B is real good at the personal social media, as is Shania Twain and Tim McGraw.
You can just tell some stars never see social media and an intern is talking for them.
Garth had a great Facebook on Monday night. He is the best at that. His team makes it look real easy!
Has anyone seen the date for the CMA show? It's nowhere to be found. And does American Idol have a signed judges panel yet? Hmmm....
