Dark Dawn In Dallas ...

Hard to focus today as the news keeps pouring in from Dallas. The darkest day there since November 22nd, 1963. The day President John Kennedy was killed not far from where these cops were ambushed overnight. 12 officers shot. Five dead. It defines all too correctly how divided our country seems to be in 2016.
We can't even agree these days on what is Country music! That seems very trivial when you see a national crisis unfold at a peaceful, legal protest march. Very troubling.
Life goes on. Kenny Chesney did play on Good Morning America. Revealed the name of his upcoming album, Cosmic Hallelujah.
The new Chesney CD was set to unload today but he delayed the release so he could record a duet with Pink. A collaboration he thinks is important enough to wait for. He sang "Noise" on GMA this morning.
Garth Brooks' band and stage are up in Yankee Stadium ready for two big nights. The shows won't be as big and amazing as his '90s Central Park show, but that was never going to be topped.
Lots of attention to the Chesney show in Pittsburgh a few days ago. The fans left 38 tons of trash? Did they bring trash from home? How do you do that? The drinking went bad for several dozen fans who were carted away by the EMS folks. The music wasn't the first or second thing the reporters were writing about.
Kenny is up there singing at 110%. He has created a great millennial party time. Too bad some in that crowd can't behave in a public place. Thirty-eight tons of trash left behind ... really?
Former Country darling Taylor Swift all over the news with her boyfriend Tom ... the actor. Now in Australia the lovey-dovey duo are given the press a work out. About time for her to go back into recording mode.
Garth, Kenny and Blake. The big three newsmakers lately ... Garth getting his own SiriusXM channel, announcing this fall's Christmas album and another album of new music.
Kenny with his unusual album delay and Blake on TV with Chelsea. That show on Netflix gave BS a lot of room to run. Those are the three biggest stars these days. Keith Urban is staying in the news with his charity giving and audience interaction.
It was great when Urban called up 24-year-old Robert Joyce of Berlin MA. Joyce wanted to play something for his girlfriend. To Keith's amazement, Rob can play. Joyce has a YouTube channel. He has the skills now; will someone on the Row help him? He would be great for the new show, American SuperGroup. Find them online, they have auditions Tuesday the 12th.
That show sounds very interesting ... Keith took a chance and that viral video is great! There are several views. https://youtu.be/YBCzrv84cNw.here is one ..
Off to McCartney in Ohio. Yeah, yeah, yeah...
