Change is exciting and stressful at the same time ... I really does seem like there is a shift to try out some new material in 2016.

Maren Morris' ship might have come in, too ... the buzz ... grows for her and the new song, "My Church." Hip factor in play like Chris Stapleton. It is fun to watch these things happen.

The Brooks and Dunn buses sound like they are cranking back up ... Bookings in Chicago and New York festivals this summer. The Vegas Reba gigs got her juices flowing again, it seems. Their shows remain some of the best ever. Great material with exciting presentation. Hope they crank it up even more!

If you have not seen the four-hour The History of The Eagles, you need to find it on Netflix and watch it ... but be careful, start and it's hard to stop ... FOUR hours ... but great ... bittersweet with the loss of Glenn Frey ... David Bowie and Natalie Cole in two weeks ... great losses!

The Grammys going LIVE for the entire country is a major step in the right direction. On a Sunday with no football competition, it should do well. Makes it so much better for the Left Coast. 5p on Sunday in the winter should be just fine ... music's biggest night deserves the Oscar treatment. Social media is killing these tape-delayed award shows ... You just need to have them up and everyone comments at the same time..Only way to fly.

Will the ACMs or CMAs ever get to do this? The ACM's Bob Romeo was interviewed recently about the location for future ACM award shows. Dallas was a record breaker ... back to Vegas this year ... Now what?

Open suggestion to Bob: Country Around The World! Do the show from Nashville, Las Vegas, Austin, Sydney, Australia, London and New York's Times Square ... Live from all those stages ... three acts and a host in each location ...

Country around the world ... six remotes ... all places where Country is important ... Keith Urban hosts the Sydney location ... Carrie Underwood in London ...Willie and friends in Austin ... Reba in Vegas ... host TBA inside the Country Music Hall of Fame ... you get the picture ... It would make news ... Get an airline sponsor ... it would be very cool ... all existing theatres in all those locations so no big stage construction ... Hall of Fame has a great theatre now ... It would be historic and no one has ever done it ... You could do bump shots with new acts in other places like Kip Moore surfing in Hawaii ... Could go real big and have say Fla Ga Line in Africa ... sunrise Big Game reserve ... Could do next show Country Across America ... adapt the above to locations around JUST the U.S. ... Hollywood ... Statue of Liberty ... Wrigley Field ... Mt. Rushmore ... Kennedy Space Center ... etc. Okay, you wanted crazy ideas...You have several!!
