Want to start a fight with some folks ... get into the Clint Eastwood "event" at the Republican convention ... He was over the top but it was such a breath of fresh air in this automated, teleprompter, voicetracked world we live in ... Clint pout gas on the fire and kicked the stove over. Hoo Rah!

Now on with the countdown: Labor Day weekend, the end of Summer. "Pontoon" was the song of the Summer with a little "Truck Yeah" and some hangover "Red Solo Cup" for good measure. Glad to see LBT on top again. They are great folks and real talents. Nothing has been easy for them, but they roll on. Onward and upward!

See the story about the lawsuit against Live Nation and their Country Fest concert in Camden, NJ? Pollstar had the best version. Some guy got really beat up by a bunch of drunks at a Live Nation show. Six hundred arrested for various drunken crimes at Foxboro and more as usual at Darien Lakes. Go Google all those things. Drunks are a real problem for Country shows and the industry is very close to getting a big black eye over this subject.

MLB, NFL, NHL ... they all control their drunks ... Greed is going to cost the Country concert business. It's just a matter of time ... Lawsuits may be the answer. Change is always difficult.

Taylor Swift needs to clean up this Kennedy thing. Getting ragged. Either go open with it or end it. The hiding rarely works ...Clint Black is over suing his manager...
