The Randy Travis story was shocking. The DWI ... even the threats to the cops were not that earth-shattering. The fact he drove to the store naked and walked in the Tiger Mart buck naked was shocking. What is wrong with him?

It is very sad to see this future Country Music Hall of Famer in such a mess. I hope there is someone who cares about him who can get him to seek serious help.

Randy has been nothing but a professional in my presence over three decades. His catalogue of hits ... solid as a rock.

His life seems to be stressful at times, sending him into dark places. He has reportedly punched holes in a wall at Good Morning America and gotten plastered at a Texas Baptist church post-Super Bowl. Now driving to the store naked for cigarettes. The plane is falling out of the sky.

Randy is an important figure in recent Country music history, and seeing news like this makes so many people who are fans very sad. I hope this not the end of his career, but merely a bump in the road. People have come back from far worse. But this is bad and a continuation down this road could easily end in his or an innocent person's death. Serious business on a personal and professional basis. He must change his life or be imprisoned by the State of Texas. His choices, at this point, personally are few.

I want Randy Travis to find and fix what is sending him off into this mental state. Country fans are a forgiving bunch. Please get help, Randy!

To Vegas we go with Tim and Faith. Twenty years ago this isn't even a story. Two big stars head to Vegas for a series of shows. Commonplace in the '80's and '90s. From Cash to Mandrell, from Oaks to Mel Tillis. Headliners at the big strip hotels. In 2012 and '13, it will feel it little like the good old days as Shania and Garth and the McGraws hold court in Sin City. Four of the biggest starts of the past 25 years!

Heard some people's jaw-dropping about the ticket prices. They are very comparable with other Vegas events and shows. It's a small theatre. Do the math. 1815 seats at the Venetian. Tim and Faith get big bucks on the arena circuit.

My math shows them taking in a million-plus on weekends, 10 weekends. They will love these paydays; maybe they will love making money in a small room. The audience is going to feel like they are performing in their living room!

Garth at the Wynn is a special night. Saw him with a million people in Central Park and 1,400 people in Vegas. Two very different shows. Both were great!

Who knows what Shania is going to do at Caesars? That place she might fly who knows.

LOVE at the Mirage is one of the coolest shows ever. You can go broke paying for them now, but show-hopping in Vegas can be fantastic! Imagine Shania, McGraws and Garth in same weekend ...whoa ... Like buying a car but would be cool!

If anyone really believes the ratings for TV and radio these days are accurate ...You may soon walk into a store naked. Be careful. Using cell phones and other ways to gather the research is more voodoo than ever. The zip code sample sizes ... all that is baloney. Just saying.
