Reporting From Country Music's HOTTEST Event

I will do a much bigger story when I am not going from 4:30a to midnight ... Monday, to be exact. The CMA Music Fest is like boot camp ... hell week, you name it ...

Global warming or something has made the weather pattern more extreme ... this is the hottest June on record in Nashville and 200 fans got EMS treatment the first day ... I wish this was early May ... but somehow it's booked in June ... tradition mostly ... waiting for the kids to get out of school ... Now kids seem to never get out of school.

The star so far has been ... Keith Urban ... he's been at everything and allowed the media and some fans into his rehearsal...full blown seven or so songs ... full lighting and sound ... wowowowowowowowowowow ... He blew me away ... I told him that if someone would have passed the plate, I would have turned in an offering ... more on this next time..

The event is so huge and the fans are tough and determined ... from sleeping on the street 24 hours to get a Rascal Flatts autograph to dealing with this heat sitting in over 100-degree midday heat to see and hear Gary Allan. TOUGH isn't the word.. Seven in hospital overnight/Friday morning from heat to prove it...

I'm out the door ... to watch the masses stand in line for Shania Twain and The Idol kids ... stand in line to get their autographs ... more early next week
