Pets can be some of the best companions. Please allow me to introduce our Yorkipoo, Chester, who we love very much. If you met him you would probably be surprised to find out that he’s eleven years old. He has so much energy and personality.
DOG DAYS
Chester’s daily routine includes going potty and climbing back up the deck stairs to stand silently at the back door. A couple of times a year he’ll stand silently in the hot sun, in the pouring rain, or on the coldest winter day because someone in the family forgot they had let him out. He’s so smart and I keep thinking that he should’ve learned by now to let us know he’s ready to come inside! Unfortunately, Chester also needlessly barks out the front window at people walking by or at delivery drivers every single day. You can probably figure out that we didn’t invest into obedience school.
HERE’S THE TAKEAWAY
Chester’s like many people I’ve worked with, including myself at times. He barks at the wrong things and stays silent when he should bark. Try not to be like Chester where you work …and I’ll do my best too.
