Latto

Latto, born Alyssa Michelle Stephens in 1998, grew up in Atlanta's south side and started rapping at age ten. She gained a local following through performances and social media before appearing on The Rap Game, a reality TV rap show produced by Queen Latifah and Jermaine Dupri. After winning the competition, she signed with Dupri's So So Def Recordings and released the single "No More Talking."

She would later go on to sign with RCA Records. In May 2021, she officially changed her performing name to Latto.
