Santigold

Santigold’s new single is called “Run the Road”  a release from her new surprise mixtape called “I Don’t Want: The Gold Fire Sessions” which was released in July 2018.  The Album was produced by Mixpak Records founder Dre Skull.  It includes material collaborated on with Ricky Blaze and Diplo.

American singer, Producer and actress Santi White was born in Philadelphia.  She goes by the pseudonym “Santigold” which is her nickname that was given to her by an old friend.  Santigold attended Wesleyan University and was a double major in music and African-American Studies.  Santigold’s musical genre has been described as electronic, indie, new wave, reggae fusion, alt hip hop, alt dance.  She was the lead singer of a Philadelphia based Punk Rock Band called Stiffed.  Santigold has toured with M.I.A., Bjork and the Beastie Boys.  She has played at the Lollapalooza Festival in Chicago.  As an actress she also Played “Millie” in the Adult Swim NTSF:SD:SUV.  She is married to Trevor Andrew and they have a son born in 2014.
