Lecrae

“Broke” is the newest single to drop from the humble rapper, Lecrae. The song was produced by T-Minus and released through Columbia Records. Lecrae digs up the past in this new track, sharing, “Never fell in love with the Coco, Never had to hold up the store with the .44/ Never had the door kicked in by the feds while I’m laying in the bed on the bread that I’m gon’ blow," he spits.

Lecrae started his journey as a Christian hip hop artist in 2004 when he released his debut album, "Real Talk". He has released seven studio albums to date; most of which were self-produced.  His most successful album, "Gravity" was released in 2012 and earned the title of the most important album in Christian hip hop history. The album won the Grammy Award for Best Gospel Album at the 2013 Grammy Awards.
