Pete Yorn
Mar 13, 2016
Pete Yorn returns with his sixth full-length studio album, ArrangingTime, and first for Capitol Records. With this project, he once again teamed up with producer R. Walt Vincent, with whom he worked with for his debut album musicforthemorningafter (2001) and its follow-up Day I Forgot (2003).
Yorn says the songs on ArrangingTime reflect on past experiences, while still looking toward the future. In addition to the first single, "Lost Weekend," check out "Summer Was A Day," "In Your Mind," "She Was Weird" and "Fire."
"I'll look at pictures of places I went, or things I did," said Yorn, "and I think, 'Look at how great that day was and you just missed it.' I think about the past and how much of it is a blur. The title of the album is a reminder to be present and within each song is a minor lesson about that. Time only gets faster as you get older."
Yorn recently performed on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show." He will be appearing at Coachella. His spring North American tour has just begun.
