Patty Griffin

Patty Griffin never stagnates creatively and with her 10th album, Servant of Love, we again find new depth and breadth in her creative genius. Sure, the new album remains rooted in a natural and authentic sound, yet she has added interesting instrumentation and textures to the arrangements of these 13 new songs.

Co-produced with Craig Ross, Servant Of Love is a probing and deeply personal exploration of loss and exaltation within the human heart. Stand-out tracks include "There Isn't One Way," "Gunpowder," "250,000 Miles," "Everything's Changes" and "Snake Charmer."

In a Guitar World interview from a while back, Griffin said about categorizing her sound, "I don't know what represents me as an artist, I just sort of do my thing."

Griffin continues her effort to support causes she believes in - most recently Action to Stop the Trans-Pecos Pipeline and the Big Bend Conservation Alliance. Servant Of Love was spotlighted by NPR, The Wall Street Journal and Entertainment Weekly. She recently recorded "All That Shines Is Not Truth" for the Karen Dalton tribute album.
