Adele

You’d have to be living on a remote island to not be aware of Adele’s new release 30 – her first album in five years. With all the glowing press, her recent One Night Only special on CBS and multi-format radio airplay, everything was primed to drop the album just in time for holiday sales and, boy, is it selling!
As has been revealed, the album is basically a musical letter to her son about her failed marriage and eventual divorce. But it is also clear in many of the songs that Adele has come out much stronger as a woman as well as musical juggernaut. In addition to “Easy On Me” and the just-released follow-up “Oh My God,” other tracks that are a natural fit for Triple A programming include “My Little Love,” “Cry Your Heart Out,” “Can I Get It” and “I Drink Wine.”
Adele explains the experience of the past few years and the making of 30 this way: “I learned a lot of blistering home truths about myself along the way. I’ve shed many layers but wrapped myself in new ones. Discovered genuinely useful and wholesome mentalities to lead with and feel like I have finally found my feeling again. I’d go so far to say that I’ve never felt more peaceful in my life. And so, I’m ready to finally put this album out.”
In addition to being available on all the DSPs and digitally, the album is also released in all physical configurations, including a Target deluxe CD featuring three bonus tracks; a Walmart clear exclusive double vinyl; and an Amazon white exclusive double vinyl.
Adele has, so far, announced two shows for 2022 at London’s Hyde Park, July 22nd-23rd.
