Grace Potter

After a four-year hiatus, Grace Potter returns with Daylight, her second solo LP and first for Fantasy Records. Potter went through some dramatic changes in her life during that four-year period resulting in her relocating to Los Angeles with her husband and producer Eric Valentine.

Daylight was recorded in Valentine’s Hollywood studio, Barefoot Recording, where Potter collaborated with guitarist Benny Yurco and drummer Matt Musty, Benmont Tench and Larry Goldings on keys, and vocalists Jess Wolfe and Holly Laessig of the band Lucius. 

In addition to the first single, “Love Is Love,” check out “On My Way,” “Back To Me,” “Release,” “Everyday Love” and Repossession.”

Potter said, “I’ve always aimed to write songs from a universal perspective; so that anyone who heard my music could relate, but that actually made it harder for me to take ownership of my own perspective. These songs were written so I could process – and be accountable for – my own life experience.”

Potter has announced a major 2020 North American headlining tour. Every pair of tickets purchased for the tour will include a digital download or CD copy of the new album:
