Bailen
May 28, 2019
Raised in New York by their classically trained parents, Bailen -- siblings Daniel, David and Julia Bailen -- -immersed themselves in their parent’s record collection and have synthesized a sound that is a myriad of classical and pop influences.
There is nothing like sibling harmonies, and Bailen deliver that in a powerful way on their John Congleton-produced debut album, Thrilled To Be Here. In addition to “I Was Wrong,” checkout “Something Tells Me,” ”Bottle It Up,” “Stray Dog” and “Your Love Is All I Know.”
“[Our parents] never said, ‘Guys, music is a viable option for a career,’” Julia said. “I think they just showed us what the life of a musician was by example.”
Bailen are on the road all summer including a performance at the Pleasantville Music Festival.
