Foxygen

Foxygen is an American indie rock duo from Westlake Village in Southern California formed in 2005. The band consists of Jonathan Rado and Sam France. It has taken some time for the band to gain some traction, but with the release of 2014's ...And Star Power and, now, Hang, the band is well established in America and around the world.

Hang was recorded in Los Angeles at Electro Vox Studios. It was written and produced entirely by Foxygen. Hang features Steven Drozd of the Flaming Lips, as well as Brian D'Addario and Michael D'Addario of the Lemon Twigs as players on the record. The album features a 41-piece orchestra!

Key tracks to focus on include "Follow The Leader," "America," "On Lankershim" and "Trauma."

In a recent interview, France said, "I think we're a lot happier as a band now than we were, say, two years ago. Just having the resources to actually follow up on our visions of things. We get to see them become real."
