Alan Walker

"Faded" is a 2015 song by Norwegian EDM artist Alan Walker originating from Bergen, Norway. The song features the vocals from the singer Iselin Solheim, though she is not credited as a featured artist.

Walker had launched it originally as an instrumental titled "Fade" in 2014, and seeing its appeal, he revamped it by speeding it up and adding lyrics. The vocal version was retitled "Faded".

"Faded" became a great commercial success in December 2015 and January 2016 topping the Norwegian VG-lista, Finnish Suomen virallinen lista and the Swedish Sverigetopplistan singles charts, and making the top 3 on the Danish Hitlisten singles chart. It also charted in various countries including Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Switzerland and the United Kingdom. It is also #1 on the Shazam Worldwide Top 100 Popular Songs as of February 6, 2016.
