Eden XO

Pop singer-songwriter Jessie Malakouti released her new single "Too Cool to Dance" as Eden XO. Previously known for her music as Jessie and the Toy Boys, she is ready to step out once again under a new name and sound.
Malakouti garnered fans worldwide as Jessie and the Toy Boys in 2010 with hit dance tracks such as "Push It" and "Let's Get Naughty." She later was selected as an opening act for Britney Spears' The Femme Fatale Tour the following year. After releasing a few more tunes under the Toy Boys name, Malakouti announced last September that she signed a new deal with Virgin Records. She is aiming for even bigger music success as Eden XO.
"Too Cool to Dance" is Eden XO's debut single release. She teams up with famed house music producer Fred Falke on the disco-tinged track. Backed by a bouncy bassline with a bit of a rock edge, Eden boasts about living the high-end life. "I don't even have to try / B*tches better recognize," she sings with attitude. Once the sunny chorus hits, even the coolest wallflowers wouldn't be able to resist Eden's chic dance track.
Eden XO premiered a home-made music video for "Too Cool to Dance" last month. In the randomly cute clip, she busts the best white girl moves on tape since HAIM's "If I Could Change Your Mind." Some poodles in aerobic outfits and older Asian ladies also get down with the colorful singer. Apparently, no living being is too cool to dance to Eden's single."Too Cool to Dance" is now available on iTunes. Eden's latest single is entitled, "The Weekend".
