Artist/producer Tai Verdes returns with new Arista Records single “Sandman”, his first release of 2023. The track follows a performance this week at Red Rocks (opening for Oliver Tree) as well as festival performances at Seoul Jazz Festival in South Korea and The Governors Ball in New York.

“Sandman” arrives alongside the official music video, directed by Loris Russier (Justine Skye, Ella Mai, Audrey Nuna), a visual blueprint that teases a new era for the consummate artist. 

On the single, Tai comments; "Sandman is dangerous. Don't listen to it, please... If you listen to it too much, I can't be accountable for what you do with that song. It's a lot. I spend a lot of time on my music, and I think that I just make sure that it's kicking on all cylinders. So, it's a little dangerous."

Tai Verdes has been trending up and to the right, after being named Billboard's #1 Emerging Artist, garnering 1.5B streams to-date. His debut album TV included several of the pandemic-era's biggest viral hits in the US - "Stuck In The Middle", “DRUGS”, and "AOK" - earning RIAA Certified Gold and 2x Platinum honors. Tai has since performed on Jimmy Kimmel and The TODAY Show, at festivals worldwide as well as Lollapalooza and Bonnaroo, garnering praise from Rolling Stone, Billboard, MTV, NPR, and more. The Shazam 2022 Artist to Watch kicked off last year with his equally explosive single "last day on earth", followed by an extended headline tour around his sophomore album HDTV, featuring hit tracks "how deep?", "Let's go to Hell", and "sheluvme".
