Majid Jordan

Majid Jordan is a Canadian music duo featuring Majid Al Maskati and Jordan Ullman.

Both men met while attending University Of Toronto and were soon creating music in their Ullman’s dorm and in his parent’s basement, which they’d then post to SoundCloud under the pseudonym Good People.

Their music caught the attention Noah Shebib, the producer for superstar recording artist Drake, who then signed them to his OVO Sound label in 2011. Their breakthrough came in 2013, when they co-produced Drake’s hit song, “Hold On, We’re Going Home.” The following year Majid Jordan released their first official single as a duo, and followed that with their EP, A Place Like This. Their debut album, Majid Jordan, was released in 2016, and in 2017 their second album, The Space Between, arrived.

The duo took a year-long hiatus from social media and returned in April 2021 with a new single “Waves Of Blue,” which will be on a new album they are still recording.
