Giveon Dezmann Evans was born February 21, 1994 in Long Beach, CA. He became interested in music at a young age and, after graduating high school, he enrolled in a music education program at the Grammy Museum.
His debut singles arrived in 2018 and 2019 and shortly afterward, he was tapped as opening act for R&B singer Snoh Aalegra's 2019 tour of Europe and North America.
Giveon's debut EP, Take Time, arrived in March 2020. He was featured performer on the song "Chicago Freestyle" from Drake's Dark Lane Demo Tapes mixtape, which enhanced the artist's profile. Soon after, he released the new song, "Stuck On You," from his second EP, When It's All Said And Done. Another single from the EP, "Like I Want You," was certified gold by the RIAA, while the EP earned a Best R&B Album Grammy nomination.
His recent single, "Heartbreak Anniversary," was certified Gold, and the singer was also featured on the song Justin Bieber song "Peaches". "For Tonight" is his latest single.
