Harry Styles was born in England on February 1, 1994.
He rose to prominence as a member of the UK boy band One Direction, which was formed using contestants on the British music competition show, The X Factor.
When One Direction went on hiatus in 2016, the individual members pursued solo careers. That year, Styles launched his own record label, Erskine Records, and signed a recording contract with Columbia Records, on which he released his self-titled solo album in 2017. Rolling Stone named "Sign Of The Times," the album's first single, as Song of the Year.
Styles also pursued an acting career and appeared in the 2017 World War II film, "Dunkirk." In 2018, he served as an executive producer on the CBS-TV sitcom, Happy Together, and also began a modeling career for fashion designer Gucci. That year, Styles came in 4th on British GQ's "50 Best-Dressed Men."
Over the years, Styles has raised money for a number of charities, including the cancer charity Trekstock, Life Water's World Water Day campaign for building water wells in India, and Little Princess Trust, which supplies and funds wigs made of real hair to children who've lost theirs, due to disease.
Styles' second solo album, Fine Line, was released in December 2019, and features the debut single "Lights Up," "Falling," "Adore You," "Watermelon Sugar" and current single "Golden." The album debuted at #1 marking the biggest week for a Pop album by a male artist in over four years.
A planned "Love On Tour" was scheduled to take place this year, but had to be postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It has since been announced that the North American leg of the tour has been rescheduled to Summer 2021.
