Separations

Imagen recording artist Separations will be releasing their full-length debut album, "Dream Eater," on October 2nd. They worked alongside producer James Paul Wisner, (Underoath, Hands Like Houses, Dashboard Confessional). In the first single and title track "Dream Eater", their distinctive sound is loud and clear. Merging soaring hooks, snapping guitars, and electronic murmurs, it crushes just as soon as it captivates.

"The concept was initially a little cryptic," explains lead singer Will Crafton, "The idea is you work so hard for something just to have it taken away. There's that inner battle in the human mind like, 'Am I good enough?' Everyone has a light and dark side. The doubt manifests in the form of this creature we'll refer to as the 'Dream Eater'. The protagonist and the monster are embroiled in this battle we all go through."

The Atlanta-based group, Separations is comprised of Will Crafton (vocals), Myles Priest (guitar), Tyler Whitfield (guitar), Brenden Worthington (bass) and Thomas Pinson (drums). In 2013, Will, alongside high school friends and band mates Brad and Kevin, possessed a desire to step outside the box and embrace their inherently heavy tendencies. That's when Separations came to life.

The band will be promoting their new music with tour dates throughout September and October. They will be uniting with Nothing More, Marmozets, and Turbowolf, as part of the Monster Energy Outbreak Tour. The tour kicks off on September 14th at Trees in Dallas, Texas and closes out in Little Rock, Arkansas on October 14th at Juanita's.
