"Do You Want To Rock?" is the latest song released from the Canadian group, Danko Jones. It is from their forthcoming seventh studio album, Fire Music, due out on April 21st. The song features a lot of personality from Jones. The song communicates a very upbeat message, with Jones' fast and aggressive lyric delivery and catchy guitar riffs.
"'Do You Wanna Rock?' has a lot of cowbell," says lead singer Danko. "We wouldn't want it any other way. Use it to start parties, create conga lines, and plain ol' boogie oogie oogie."
This trio hails from Toronto, Canada and the members include Danko Jones (vocals & guitar), John 'JC' Calabrese (bass guitar) and Rich Knox (drums). They were formed in 1996 and they played consistently for two years in and around the northeastern United States and Canada before they eventually released an album. They have gone on to put out six studio albums, three EPs and four compilations.
From now until the end of August, Danko Jones will be touring throughout Europe in support of Fire Music.
