EMMURE
Apr 7, 2014
The deathcore band, Emmure will be releasing their seventh album, Eternal Enemies, on April 15th via Victory Records. It is without a doubt the band's most aggressive, brutal and devastating album of their career. They just came off a landmark year playing at Rockstar Mayhem Festival and they toured relentlessly with Asking Alexandria, Five Finger Death Punch, Killswitch Engage, Whitechapel, and We Came As Romans. Emmure also expanded their global presence, headlining the Impericon Never Say Die! Tour across Europe, as well as playing in South America, Russia, Israel, Japan, Australia, and more.
Formed in 2003, residing in Queens, New York, the group's members are Frankie Palmeri (vocals), Jesse Ketive (rhythm guitar), Mark Davis (bass), Mike Mulholland (lead guitar) and Mark Castillo(drums). Emmure has a total of seven releases. With their two demos entitled Nine Eleven Zero Four and Demo 2005 they attracted the attention of This City Is Burning Records through which the band released their debut extended play The Complete Guide to Needlework. Victory Records took notice of the band after the release of their extended play and signed them. They released their first full-length album Goodbye to the Gallows in 2007. Their second, third and fourth albums The Respect Issue (2008), Felony (2009) and Speaker of the Dead (2011) were all distributed through Victory.
Emmure will headline the Mosh Lives! Tour with support from Volumes, Thy Art Is Murder, Gideon and Sworn In. The tour kicked off on March 7th in Pittsburgh and ends on April 27th in Florida.
