Jul 22, 2013
The hard rock band, Empathic have set a September 17th release date for their sophomore album, entitled, Another Life via Epochal Artist Records/Capitol. This new album was produced by Justin McCain and co-produced by Ryan Greene, including collaborations with Tobin Esperance (bassist of Papa Roach), "Sahaj" Ticotin of alternative metal band Ra, and Johnny Andrews. The impact date for the new single "Remember Me" is set for July 30th. Another Life showcases Emphatic's newfound sense of maturity and creative firepower as they belt out a powerful dose of groundbreaking hard rock. Rejuvenated creatively, the band is now firing on all cylinders with a line-up that matches the intensity of their songs. This album is filled with gigantic hooks, powerful melodies and is an inspiring triumph over adversity.
Front man, Justin McCain went on a nationwide search to rebuild the band and brought in Toryn Green on vocals, former front man of platinum selling artist Fuel and Apocalyptica. Actor/musician Jesse Saint (Scum of the Earth/The Autumn Offering) joined the band as the new bass player and Bill Hudson of Cellador joined as co-lead guitar player. Hailing from Omaha, the band's major label debut record, Damage for Atlantic Records reached number nine on Billboard Top Heatseekers chart in 2011. This album produced the hit single, 'Bounce".
"This band has seen its share of difficult situations and for me I was the guy that had to decide to give up or fix what was broken. Music is in my blood so giving up isn't an option," says guitarist Justin McCain. "After making that decision to continue we found Toryn and he was everything I've ever wanted in a front man. The record is a reflection of the trials and tribulations we went through as a band over the past couple of years."
