Fozzy is a rock/ metal band formed in Atlanta, Georgia, in 1999 by lead singer Chris Jericho, lead guitarist Rich Ward and drummer Frank Fontsere, who are the longest-serving members of the band and have appeared on all the band's releases, although Fontsere left in 2005, rejoined in 2009 and left again in 2022. The band's current lineup consists of Jericho, Ward, second guitarist Billy Grey, bassist P. J. Farley and drummer Grant Brooks.
With five consecutive Top 20 singles, Fozzy is steadily becoming one of the most successful bands on Rock Radio, with their breakthrough massive smash song “Judas” achieving Gold Record status of 500,000 units sold in February of 2022.
Jericho has characterized the band by saying, "If Metallica and Journey had a bastard child, it would be Fozzy." As of October 2020, the band has released seven studio albums including “Fozzy” (2000), “Happenstance” (2002), “All That Remains” (2005), “Chasing the Grail” (2010), “Sin and Bones” (2012), “Do You Wanna Start a War” (2014), and "Judas" (2017).
Now the band is back with a new single "I Still Burn" from the new album "Boombox" coming on May 6th. The band will kick off their "Save The World" Spring Tour on March 31st. Also of note, Chris Jericho's "Rock 'N' Wrestling Rager at Sea", which was postponed this past year due to Covid-19 is back and ready to rock...just like Fozzy!
