Fit for a King, also known as FFAK, is a metalcore band formed in Dallas, Texas in 2007. The band features Ryan Kirby – Vocals, Bobby Lynge – Guitar, Daniel Gailey – Guitar, Trey Celaya – Drums, and Ryan “Tuck” O’Leary – Bass/Vocals. The band has released six studio albums to date, including their most recent "The Path", which was released on September 18, 2020.
The band's latest album notes for "The Path" say, "Bigger, bolder, and overwhelmingly epic in scope, 'The Path' leans harder on the 'metal' side of their sound, with shredding guitar solos, while doubling-down on the massive catchy choruses that propelled their fiercest fan-favorite anthems." "The Path" was produced/mixed by WZRD BLD, aka Drew Fulk, who was responsible for career-making records from Motionless In White and Bad Wolves. The latest single and album title track "The Path" has already over 7 million + Spotify streams.
Fit For A King has appeared several times on the Vans Warped Tour and alongside bands including Ice Nine Kills, Beartooth, and August Burns Red, and beginning on March 1st, in St. Louis, the Dallas rockers will embark on a nationwide headline tour,with special guests Silent Planet, Hollow Front, and Avoid.
