Dead Poet Society

Los Angeles-based rockers Dead Poet Society feature singer/guitarist Jack Underkofler, guitarist Jack Collins, drummer Will Goodroad, and bassist Dylan Brenner. They were formed in 2013 while attending Berklee College of Music in Boston, where they studied music theory.
After the release of their first two EPs, "AXIOM" and "Dempsey", the band gained some traction in Mexico, after a write-up by the blog PepeProblemas and a tour of the country. Since then, they have amassed a dedicated, international following, including their use of fretless instruments, which creates their original sound.
Over the years, the quartet have developed a chemistry: Underkofler and Collins had a mutual love of Coldplay, but their tastes adjusted over time along with drummer Will Goodroad, and included heavy acts like Royal Blood and Led Zeppelin, as well as modern art-pop artists like St.Vincent. Collins says, "Our goal is to make someone feel something they haven't felt before. People are paying too much umbrage to classic rock-there's this 'passing of the torch' thing that I think is just bullshit. Heavy music is the way we communicate—it happens to be rock music, but the expression itself and what we're trying to say and how we want to make people feel is unique."
Dead Poet Society released their debut album "-!-" last February via Spinefarm Records, which included their Top 20 Rock single “.CoDA.”, which featured a great video directed by filmmaker and photographer Jordan Wolfbauer. Now the band is back with the new single, “intoodeep.,” and their uncompromising sound is continuing to gain new fans every day!
