10 Years

10 Years was formed in Knoxville, TN back in 1999. The band now rocks with lead vocalist Jesse Hasek, guitarist Brian Vodinh, and guitarist Matt Wantland, with Vodinh and Wantland being the only remaining founding members. To date, they have released nine studio albums.
10 Years were signed to Universal Records in 2005 and released their major label debut "The Autumn Effect" in August 2005 with the songs "Wasteland" and "Through the Iris" picking up regional radio play. Their first single "Wasteland" spent over 12 months on the rock charts, finally reaching No. 1 at Active Rock in December 2005. The band's eighth studio album "(How to Live) as Ghosts" was released in October 2017 and the first single "Novacaine" also received considerable Active Rock airplay.
In May of 2020, the band released the single “The Shift” from the band's ninth studio LP "Violent Allies" which was released in September 2020. The song went Top 20 at Active Rock, and recently the band released the powerful anthem "The Unknown" as their latest single.
According to frontman Jesse Hasek, the album's title "Violent Allies" has a dual meaning, representing both the band's strong determination to work together to create a meaningful album, and an allusion to the divisiveness present in modern social and political issues. While "The Shift" was written in late 2019, prior to the Coronavirus outbreak, the song contains multiple allusions to the "spreading of a virus."
