"Better Day" is the latest single released off Islander's second studio album entitled, "Power Under Control".
Islander was founded in 2011 in South Carolina as an Alternative/ Rap Metal group. In 2012 they signed with Victory Records and released their first EP, "Side Effects of Youth". The next year they released their second EP, "Pains". Shorty succeeding "Pains" was the release of their first studio album, "Violence & Destruction" (2014). In 2016 they released their second studio album, "Power Under Control". Islander currently consists of lead vocalist Mikey Carvajal, guitarist J.R. Bareis (Love and Death/ Korn) , bassist Zeke Vasquez (FoereverAtLast) and drummer Arin Ilejay (Avenged Sevenfold) .
