"She Used To Be Mine" is the latest single from the singer-songwriter, Sara Bareilles. This is the first track from her upcoming fifth studio album, "What's Inside: Songs From Waitress, Sara Bareilles". She recently confirmed that the album would feature songs she'd written for the Broadway play, "Waitress" reworked "to sound like Sara Bareilles songs." She continues to work on the musical stage adaptation of the 2007 movie "Waitress", set to debut in the spring. Her album will be out on November 6th via Epic Records.
"There were moments in the film that emotionally swelled, and I could see how the experience might be deepened with a song. With my natural penchant for melancholy, I re-watched the scene that depicts Jenna's darkest most broken place," Bareilles writes in her recently released memoir.
Bareilles first achieved mainstream success in 2007 with her hit song "Love Song", which reached number four on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. She has now sold over one million records and over seven million singles in the United States alone and has been nominated for a Grammy Award five times as well as earning a nomination for a Grammy Award for Album of the Year. Along with all the music, Sara has also recently released a memoir entitled "Sounds Like Me: My Life (So Far) in Song".
