The charismatic duo, Alex & Sierra, wowed America on the X Factor and reached number one on iTunes with their covers of A Great Big World's "Say Something" and Sarah Bareilles' "Gravity". They went on to sign with Columbia Records and Syco Music. Alex & Sierra have been collaborating with noted producers and songwriters, including Toby Gad (Beyonce), John Legend, Sam Hollander (Neon Trees, Gym Class Heroes), and Julian Bunetta (One Direction), on their debut album due out in late summer. "Scarecrow" is the lead single out now from it. The video for the song has already received 1 million views.
The central Florida natives have already sold more than a million units of their X Factor repertoire, garnering over 2 million online fans and 85 million overall YouTube views. Alex Kinsey and Sierra Deaton met while still in high school. The duo formed a close relationship, with Sierra following musician/singer Alex on his run of shows across Florida. Soon Alex began encouraging Sierra to join him on stage. The collaboration began to blossom creatively, gradually transitioning into Alex & Sierra.
