Graffiti6

Graffiti6 is a pop/rock band formed in London in 2008. This duo is made up of Jamie Scott (lead vocals) and Tommy "D" Danvers (producer and songwriter). They are best known for their characterful voices and crisp, intricate grooves created from an infectious alliance of electric piano and offbeat guitar. The two of them began collaborating in 2008 but it wasn't until 2009 till they created the actual band, Graffiti6. Scott was considering working with new collaborators as a way to repackage the album when an A&R executive at Polydor suggested he meet well-known producer, Danvers. Graffiti6 went on to put out an album in Britain only, Stone In My Heart on their own label in March 2010. The band was named New Band Of The Day at The Guardian newspaper.
Eventually, Graffiti6 signed to Capitol Records in April 2011, which they released their latest album, Colours under. With the help of much TV and commercial exposure, Graffiti6 has just been chosen as VH1's You Ought To Know Artists for March 2012.
Colours has been described as an uncategorizable mélange of pop, R&B, and British Northern Soul that fully capitalizes on the soaring uplift of Jamie Scott's emotionally transparent voice and gift for melody and TommyD's irresistible rhythms and inventive production. Songs like "Stone In My Heart," "Stare Into The Sun," "Annie You Save Me," and "Free" are "latter-day psych-soul nuggets, all phased vocals and sunshine melodies given the warp factor,"
