Sasha Sloan was born March 11, 1995 in Boston, MA. As a songwriter, Sasha has amassed over 3.5 billion streams by penning hits for many performers, including Camila Cabello, Idina Menzel and Maggie Lindemann. Early in her career, she was featured vocalist on the 2015 Kaskade track, "Phoenix," and in 2017 on the Kygo song, "This Town". She was co-writer for both songs.
In April 2018, Sloan released the first of two EPs that year, Sad Girl. It featured her debut single, "Ready Yet". The second EP, Loser, was released that November. The success of a single from Loser, "Older," led lead to her late night debut on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert in 2019, where she performed the song.
That year, Sasha completed her first North American and European headline tours (sold out) and released her 3rd and final EP, Self Portrait, which featured the single "Dancing With Your Ghost". In early 2020, she hit #1 on the Dance Chart with "I’ll Wait," her collaboration with Kygo.
"Lie" is the lead single from Sloan's upcoming debut album, Only Child, scheduled for late 2020.
