David Cook

"Gimme Heartbreak" is the brand new single from singer-songwriter, David Cook. It is the lead track from Cook’s forthcoming untitled EP and released via InGrooves Music Group. The EP is slated to be released later this fall.

In reference to his new single, Cook shares "’Gimme Heartbreak' feels like a new chapter to me. New direction, new energy. A new sound that I'm excited to share and build on.”

Cook first rose to fame after winning the seventh season of American Idol. Prior to Idol he released an independent album entitled "Analog Heart". This was followed by his post-Idol major-label debut "David Cook" which was released in 2008 and has since been certified platinum by the RIAA. His second major album "This Loud Morning" was released in 2011 followed by his fourth album, "Digital Vein" in 2015.
