Night Riots

"Nothing Personal" is the lead single from the Central California band, Night Riots. The band's debut full-length album is due out this fall via Sumerian Records.
"Our songs are based in reality, but they've got a toe in the surreal," says Night Riots front-man Travis Hawley. "There's a bit of gloom, a bit of atmosphere, some rain and some fog. It envelopes you and transports you. There are moments of inspiration, too. One of the reasons we took the risk to be in this band was to prove to people that if you want something, you can have it. You just have to work for it. That's what these lyrics say, and if we didn't live that message and believe it, we wouldn't be here."
Night Riots was formed in 2010 in San Luis Obispo. The band consists of Travis Hawley (lead vocals), Nick Fotinakes (guitar), Matt DePauw (guitar), Mikel Van Kranenburg (bass), and Rico Rodriguez (drums). In 2014, Night Riots released their first single "Contagious" and supported musician K.Flay on U.S. tour. Then in 2015, their EP "Howl" was released.
In the Spring of 2016, Night Riots went on tour with Blaqk Audio, opening for The Material Tour, and revisited some of the same venues in the Midwest and East Coast from the LTKR tour. For the 2016 festival season Night Riots will include KITS/San Francisco's Live 105 BFD, Firefly Music Festival, Osheaga Festival, and Riot Fest in both Colorado and Chicago.
