Langhorne Slim & The Law

Langhorne Slim's fifth album and his second with backing group The Law, The Spirit Moves is due out on August 7th on Dualtone Records. It is billed as a bold, risky tribute to both life and vulnerability. The first single off the record is "Strangers" and it is full of sun and wonder. Langhorne recorded the 12-song collection at Nashville's The Bomb Shelter with producer Andrija Tokic and longtime band The Law, the former move a first for the musician, who previously recorded at Old Soul Studios in New York City.

The singer-songwriter, Langhorne Slim has released five full-length records since 2004. Langhorne Slim and The Law is Langhorne Slim on vocals and guitar, Malachi DeLorenzo on drums, David Moore on banjo and keyboard, and Jeff Ratner on bass. He began to gain public notice through several years of touring with the Trachtenburg Family Slideshow Players and an appearance at the Bonnaroo Music Festival. He has toured with Cake, The Avett Brothers, Old 97's and many others.

Langhorne Slim & The Law kick off a summer tour June 19th-August 22nd.
