Good Old War

"Tell Me What You Want From Me" is the latest single from Philadelphia's Good Old War. This catchy and upbeat tune was written by the Philadelphia duo (formerly a trio) with Los Angeles-via-Zimbabwe producer Tinashe Sibanda, known as T-Collar. It is the first single released from their upcoming fourth full-length album, "Broken Into Better Shape". Due out on June 30th via Nettwerk, front-man, Keith Goodwin has revealed that the duo really push themselves in new directions on this new record.
"Compared to our other stuff, it's a way bigger sound," Goodwin says. "It's got more pop production, that's kind of his deal. We didn't want to limit ourselves to exactly what we can play, because that's what we've done on our other albums," he says.
Good Old War was formed when the group, Days Away was on hiatus. Keith Goodwin and Dan Schwartz immediately got to work by recording some free demos in a late night session at a recording studio. They went on to release three albums.
Good Old War have been touring non-stop since the end of March. Their drummer, Tim Arnold, even re-join them for the run, having left Good Old War late last year after re-locating to Atlanta for the birth of his first child. They are playing intimate venues throughout the Northeast and Midwest where they'll be doing a set filled with fan favorites as well as some songs from their forthcoming full-length album.
