Rebelution's fourth album Count Me In via 87 Music/Easy Star Records, becomes the band's second consecutive album to debut in the Top 15 on Billboard's Top 200 Albums chart, and it's best selling debut ever. In addition, the album makes Top 5 debut on Billboard's Independent chart (#2) and on the Digital chart (#4), and marks the band's third successive release to bow at #1 on Billboard's Reggae chart.
"To have had our last two albums debut in the Top 15 is really exciting for both our band and the new style of Reggae that is building," said Rebelution's vocalist Eric Rachmany. "We have a great sense of community and family with our fans, so the fact that they like this new album so much is beyond gratifying. We really appreciate the support."
Count Me In was produced by the California-based band (Eric Rachmany/vocals, guitar, Rory Carey/keyboards, Marley D. Williams/bass, and Wesley Finley/drums), and recorded in Miami and Burbank, CA between September and December of last year. The album features special guest appearances by dancehall singer Collie Buddz (on the track "Hate To Be The One") and legendary roots reggae vocalist Don Carlos (on "Roots Reggae Music").
Rebelution is currently in the midst of its 32-date-plus "Count Me In Summer Tour" which will include performances at Lollapalooza, the Sierra Nevada World Music Festival, the Hudson Music Project, and the Pemberton Music Festival.
