Taking Back Sunday
May 18, 2014
On the heels of their highly successful, sold out spring North American tour, Taking Back Sunday have announced that they will join The Used again this fall for a final run of co-headlining shows. Taking Back Sunday will also play all three dates of RIOT FEST this year in Toronto, Chicago and Denver.
"With so many great rock festivals happening every year in North America, Riot Fest proves time after time with their incredible varied lineups that they are one of the best. We are both excited and humbled that they considered us to be part of that experience and can't wait to not only play but also participate as fans at every one this year," said lead vocalist Adam Lazzara.
Pre-sale tickets for Taking Back Sunday's co-headlining dates with The Used are also available now through Applauze: http://www.applauze.com/tours/usedtbs. Fans can purchase digital versions of both Taking Back Sunday and The Used's new albums along with a ticket for a special reduced service fee.
"Touring with The Used in the spring was such a wonderful experience for us all that we didn't want the fun to stop," said Lazzara. "There was an energy in every room that we played that is hard to put into words and we look forward to being able to close out this co-headlining run by bringing that show to a handful of places we couldn't get to last time around."
Taking Back Sunday released their sixth studio album, Happiness Is, on March 18th via Hopeless Records. It garnered worldwide support from fans and media alike, debuting at #10 on the Billboard 200 and #1 on the Independent Album Charts. It landed the band on the cover of Alternative Press Magazine and was featured by countless outlets including Kerrang!, Billboard, Vice / Noisey, Huffington Post and more.
