Oshkosh, WI's KennyHoopla is back with a vengeance on his brand new single "You Needed A Hit" via Arista. The Cleveland-born singer said, "Zakk [Cervini] and I got in the studio last year and made this in LA. It always felt like the perfect song to start a roll out with, so here we are! More music is on the way also." 

The accompanying video bottles the track’s frenetic spirit. KennyHoopla said, "This was honestly one of my favorite videos to shoot because I did it in the midwest and with my close friends. You see a bunch of them walking around the shots, even my dog is in it. It was really just hanging with the homies."

With no style off-limits, the Ohio-born and Wisconsin-based singer, songwriter, producer, and guitarist merges alternative, hip-hop, rock, indie, and pop in a melodic undertow. Upon graduating high school, he left home and moved to Madison, WI. He caught fire with "lost cause// (feat. Jesse) in 2019, landing a record label deal. In 2020, he released he released his debut EP, how will i rest in peace if i’m buried by a highway?//. The title track "how will i rest in peace if i’m buried by a highway?//" gathered over 55 million streams.

In 2021, KennyHoopla teamed up with Travis Barker for SURVIVORS GUILT: THE MIXTAPE// featuring the singles "hollywood sucks//" and "estella//," which reeled in over 56 million streams. 

Between tours with MGK and Yungblud, Rolling Stone championed him as an "Artist You Need To Know" and Forbes went as far as to crown him, "One of the most exciting new rock artists in years."

KennyHoopla just played Bottle Rock Festival on May 26th. He has Governor's Ball on June 10th and then July tour dates with blink-182.
