Singer-songwriter Tessa Violet recently released a brand new single called "Games." The track features the L.A. group, lovelytheband. It can be found on Violet’s second studio album, “Bad Ideas,” out now via TAG Music/The Orchard. The album was produced by Seth Earnest, who has collaborated with Violet since 2013.

About the collaboration, Tessa said, "Soooooo excited about having lovelytheband on Games!!! Honestly I feel like Mitchy's voice on this song really pushes it over the edge!"

The video is a recreation of the infamous TWILIGHT baseball scene: featuring lovelytheband and TESSA as vampire rivals and a cameo from one of the original TWILIGHT actors.

Tessa added, "I was supposed to open for lovelytheband in 2020 (which let me tell you I was so stoked about that tour). Anyway I was like hey would you want to sing on Games? Honestly I feel like Mitchy’s voice on this song really pushes it over the edge! And I was so stoked when they were down to do the Twilight thing haha. Especially when it's so goofy, but they were perfect!” She had this to say about the song: "Being cheated on is crazy making. You're suspicious but then your suspicion is dismissed, and you start to question your own sense of reality. Games for me is about the tension of suspecting something is up, but being paralyzed to call someone out."

Tessa Violet previously known as Meekakitty, is a musician, video blogger, actress, music video director and former model. Originally a video blogger, over the years Tessa Violet's online content became devoted to her musical career with Tessa having released two studio albums, Maybe Trapped Mostly Troubled in 2014 and Bad Ideas in 2019.

Tessa has announced an upcoming exclusive livestream event called Bad Ideas: The Experience. It will take place May 12th & 13th as a final celebration of “Bad Ideas.” The event will be shown three times in various time zones.
