“Dancing In My Room” is the newest single from the 17-year-old Canadian rapper/singer, 347aidan. Out now via Columbia Records, in just its first 4 days out, it surpassed 1 million streams online. The track begins with the quirky question, “What you been up to, Aidan?,” the track transforms into a vaporwave, lo-fi, electronic joy ride. “I been dancing in my room / Swaying my feet / Tryna give you love and a kiss on the cheek,” he chants, bringing us into his bedroom to bob along with him.

The Ontario-based musician began making music in 2017, releasing many singles and EPs on SoundCloud and YouTube throughout 2017 to 2019. He gained a fan-base from these early recordings. When he joined TikTok earlier this year, 347aidan released “Demons And Monsters” on this platform and it gained millions of views with several creators using the song in their YouTube and TikTok videos. It was officially released in September 2020 and hit one-million streams in its first week out. 347aidan says his music provides a peek inside his head.
